In 1929 Fritz Lang was not just making movies about robots. He made a fantastic movie about going to the Moon in a real live Spaceship. This thing looks like something that may have actually worked. It is too bad the Nazis took great pains to destroy all copies they could get their hands on of this film.
I present to you the “Friede”. The first realistic spaceship in film.

Star Trek Into Darkness Release Date Moved Up There's one less day to wait to head "Into Darkness." Paramount revealed it has pushed up the opening of "Star Trek Into Darkness" to Thursday, May 16, instead of Friday, May 17. The studio behind the second installment of the rebooted franchise made the date change because of the excellent response to the sneak peek screenings of the film, which occur on May 15 at IMAX theaters in various cities across the country.Speaking about the new film at the premiere in London, Benedict Cumberbatch, who joins the franchise as bad guy John in this installment, said it is impressive.
