James Muench was advanced to Commodore as of 11/25/2012 but announced on 12/15/12

ACTIVITIES :

No meeting for December.  Shore leave for everyone. Winter Party! Fun was had by all.  Maj Max Triola collected toys for donation.  We collected 38 toys for the Houston Women's Center.  
Comm James Muench finished writing our newsletter and we will be publishing it quarterly.  We had submissions from James Kent, Deborah Kent, Cameron Kramr, Penelope McFadin, Rufus Barr, Max Triola, and Angela Phillips-Hardy. We are revising our bylaws.  James Muench is working on that one.  

COMMENTS :

Comm James Muench became Zone 3 leader in R3. 
Future plans:
Will be running the Steampunk Texas LARP at Owlcon on February 17th and possibly participating in an Artemis Bridge Simulator tourney at Owlcon as well.
We are also preparing a bid for Summit 2014 and we are looking for information we may need to prepare that bid.

My son can not wait to get signed up for star fleet. He found out that he can go to the academy and there are subjects that he is interested in. The best part are they are free online or via the email. This is going to make homeschooling easier for some of his lessons.
